  9. Who  said  musiccompos  are fair?  Not
  10. the  organisers of The Party 3 anyway.
  11. The  whole  compo was a joke and a big
  12. shame  to  Amiga musicians who compose
  13. great  tunes  just  to find that their
  14. work never gets played.  But there are
  15. some tunes that gets played, but these
  16. are  jokes  and  bad techno-styles.  I
  17. mean,   tune   no  19  in  this  years
  18. competition was a real disgrace to all
  19. Amiga  music,  and  I heard some other
  20. tunes  wich  were  not  played  that I
  21. became  fond  of  immidiately  when  I
  22. heard    them.    Last   year,   great
  23. musicians  like  Jogeir  Liljedahl and
  24. Nhp  &  Bkh  were not selected for the
  25. final  vote  and this year it was even
  26. worse.   A  musiccompetition  CAN'T be
  27. fair.   That's  a fact, but at least I
  28. think  it can be more fair than it was
  29. today!  Random selection is definitely
  30. out  of  question,  since  Mr.Cool/The
  31. Bests can compete with his 12 kb ST-01
  32. tune when great musicians just have to
  33. watch  (and  cry).   On  bigger events
  34. where    there    are    hundreds   of
  35. contributions,  there is no way to let
  36. the  audience  hear  all of the tunes,
  37. but the JURY should at least listen to
  38. them.      It's     the    organisers'
  39. responsabilities     to    make    the
  40. competition   as   fair  as  possible.
  41. Where  is  the  jury?   I think that a
  42. ¶list  of  all  jurymembers  should  be
  43. published    on   the   bulletinboard.
  44. Everybody  who  wants to, with a limit
  45. ofcourse,  should  be allowed to be in
  46. the   jury.    There   is  no  way  of
  47. organising    a    competition   where
  48. everybody  gets  satisfied, but I hope
  49. in the future, that we get much better
  50. compos.   Finally,  I just want to say
  51. that this party is very well organised
  52. and  that  the  musiccompo is the only
  53. thing that can be complaint about.
